In what is no doubt the loudest trek this winter, Slayer and Megadeth embark on the American Carnage tour, marking the first time in over 20 years the heavy metal masters have assaulted ears together as co-headliners (Testament will also go along for the ride). Also, Hot Chip plot out a handful of April 2010 dates in support of their upcoming album One Life Stand and the Deftones have scheduled two special benefit gigs to raise money for the Chi Ling Cheng Special Needs Trust — a group that helps pay medical bills for their bassist, who was severely injured in a car crash last November.
