The first four dates of Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s joint “Fame Kills” tour were announced on Lady-Gaga.net. We’re assuming these are the first four confirmed dates and not the first four actual dates, since the first show revealed is November 18th in Sacramento and the fourth show is in Dallas in January 24th, so either the full itinerary will fill in the gaps or you can expect this tour to wrap up by 2013.
The Gaga site reports that the full touring schedule will be announced Monday, September 15th, which according to our calendar doesn’t exist (Monday is the 14th), so look for the dates either Monday or September 15th. The December 26th show at Hartford, Connecticut’s XL Center has been posted on Ticketmaster, which reveals that the presale will begin on September 15th, with a general onsale date of September 19th. While the Greensboro, North Carolina and Dallas shows both have a 9/15 presale according to Gaga.net, neither show has been posted on Ticketmaster or Live Nation as of yet.
As Rolling Stone previously reported, while West has a couple more albums and Grammys over Gaga, the rapper insists both artists will have equal billing on “Fame Kills.” “She’s talented and so incredible that she’s not an opening act. We’re doing it together, with no opening act,” Kanye said. West also recently proclaimed Rolling Stone’s Hot Diva as the next Madonna, and sampled Gaga’s “Pokerface” for Kid Cudi’s “Make Her Say.” Gaga returned the favor by covering West’s “Heartless” in concert in Toronto.
