Guns n’ Roses‘ Chinese Democracy world tour continues to take shape as Axl Rose’s long-dormant official Website was updated this weekend to reveal that Gn’R will embark of a trek of South America from March 10th to April 10th, 2010. As Rolling Stone previously reported, Gn’R will finally set out on tour to promote their year-old Chinese Democracy with a four-date tour of Southeast Asia that kicks off just 12 days from now, December 11th, in Taipei, Taiwan.

No official dates for the South American tour have been revealed yet, but the MyGNR and Here Today Gone to Hell forums have collected a bunch of Ticketmaster and promoter information that lays the groundwork for the potential tour. As it stands now, Guns n’ Roses are expected to perform four shows in four different cities in Brazil, two concerts at Buenos Aires, Argentina’s Estádio Monumental de Nunez and one gig apiece in Peru, Chile and Venezuela. When the Chinese Democracy world tour officially comes to South America, it’ll be Guns n’ Roses’ first concert on the continent since the Rock in Rio show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on January 15th, 2001.

Guns n’ Roses previously announced plans to also invade North America, however it’s in the form of a 13-date Canadian tour that launches January 13th, 2010 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. So far, no plans for a U.S. tour have been revealed, but a summer of Axl headlining music festivals seems like a real possibility now. Until then, check out the Canadian dates below:
