  • Faith No More reunited in London in June, and now the band is giving U.S. fans hope by tweeting, “we yare [sic] now actively planning US dates.”

  • The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s October 29th/30th concerts at Madison Square Garden have gotten more incredible: Ozzy Osbourne will perform with Metallica, Buddy Guy will join Eric Clapton, B.B. King is pairing with Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox and Lenny Kravitz are teaming with Aretha Franklin. More info at the Rock Hall 25 site.
  • Billy Corgan will perform with Kerry Brown of Ancient Chinese Secrets and Mark Tulin of the Electric Prunes as the Backwards Clock Society at a November 8th benefit at L.A.’s Echoplex to raise money for Laura Masura, the onetime head of the Smashing Pumpkins fan club, who was injured in a motorcycle crash.
  • Pitchfork reminded us that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ iTunes Original Sessions EP is on sale now. The download includes interviews segments and acoustic renditions of “Maps,” “Our Time”, “Dull Life”, “Hysteric”, and “Runaway.”
