  • Unreleased Jimi Hendrix studio recordings and concerts may see the light of day now that the guitarist’s Experience Hendrix and Sony’s Legacy Recordings have reached an agreement. Deluxe editions of all Hendrix’s releases are also on the way, according to a press release.

  • Jay-Z appeared on Bill Maher’s Real Time on HBO Friday night to talk about the media’s handling of hip-hop feuds, being a role model and rap “that sounds like a Wendy’s commercial.” Watch Maher present Jay with a giant book of all his lyrics and the full interview at Nah Right.
  • Them Crooked Vultures played not one, but two Reading and Leeds sets this weekend, NME reports, where Dave Grohl blew kisses to the crowd and Josh Homme called the crowd “beautiful motherfuckers.”
  • 50 Cent was forced to postpone his 40 Day event in Queens, New York, this weekend after failing to get a permit for the family picnic, MTV News reports. The MC said after he publicized the event, authorities feared the crowd would get too large to handle.
